Naikie
With a style so versatile, so different and so not the typical writer, Naikie has become a force to reckoned with. Naikie was born in Jersey city, New Jersey in 1987 to Regina Washington and Anthony Reeves who changed his name to Wadud when he joined the Nation of Islam when he was a young man. Growing up, Naikie was always considered to be the smart one out of whatever group of friends he hung out with. Never the type to shy away from anyone he made friends quickly and was never really only ever with one crowd. As Naikie became a young man he ran with gang members, drug dealers, skaters, bikers, jocks, and even a few book worms. His wide variety of friends might have influence his versatility in his plight to become one of the greatest to ever do it. Most people knew Naikie as an intellectual writer, but his ability to write hits in just minutes is what makes him the future. You can say his lyrical prowess came from his infatuation with words. Naikie wasnt an avid reader, but when he did decide to pick up a book he was always reading something that most other people wouldnt have an interest in. While in the fourth grade Naikies reading ability was assessed and it was determined he had the reading level of someone who was a senior in high school. No he was not a genius, maybe a lyrical one, he just really like words. Most of his reading consisted of science, Greek mythology, and black political leaders. Overall Naikie will go down in history as one of the illist and most lyrically inclined writers of all time.
