Cassandra Davis was born in South-East London, England, and raised to the beat of Reggae by her Caribbean mother.She has been blessed to work with some heavy hitters in the music industry already, she is making great strides towards achieving her goals, and continues to hone her craft with every song she writes. Although Cassandra enjoys and has been heavily influenced by Reggae, Country, Pop and R&B music, the music Cassandra creates can be described as a crossover between pop and r&b. She has a unique style of writing, her songs are fresh and catchy. The first thing people say when they listen to one of my demos is, Wow, youre really good, I cant believe youre from London -- Cassandra Cassandra is very versatile, she can easily adapt her style of writing to suit a particular artist, she is critical of her own work and is always willing to listen and learn.It has been said by many that Cassandra has a very marketable look, and they wonder why she isnt pursuing a career as a recording artist, however Cassandras passion lies in song writing, she doesnt crave the limelight and doesnt like to do things half-heartedly. Song writing for me is being able to express my emotions and at the same time be able to touch someones life in a special way. Cassandra and her 4 siblings were raised single-handedly by their Mother. They went through difficult times like many others, but Cassandra always turned to music as an outlet. She began to write poetry, which later developed into song writing.
Both my parents are creative, my mum writes songs and short stories, and although my father wasnt around I know he wrote songs, played the piano and could sing. I believe their musical talents were passed along to me
